I am starting a podcast that may be of interest to PPE people. It is ‘System Change Made Simple’.
A phrase often used at climate actions is ‘system change not climate change’. This podcast explores that idea. What kind of system are we living with now? How do systems of exploitation come about? What options for a new system make sense? How could we make system change happen?
The first series is on pathways out of capitalism. The next one is on how patriarchy intersects with class society. The third series is on the origin and history of social class. The fourth is on competitive aggression and the sociobiological critique of the left. The final series is on problems for environmental politics at the present time.
The aim of the podcast is to create an accessible guide. To consider questions of importance to activists. To generate informed discussion of hopes for a better future.
